We are seeking a talented Mid-Associate with 5-6 years of experience in banking, finance, projects, and energy law to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in providing strategic legal advice and support to our clients across a wide range of transactions and projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Transactional Expertise:
   • Leading and managing complex financing transactions, project finance deals, and energy-related transactions from inception to completion.
   • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of legal documents including loan agreements, security documents, project contracts, and energy/power supply agreements.
   • Conducting thorough due diligence reviews and risk assessments to identify legal issues and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation.
2. Regulatory Compliance:
   • Advising clients on regulatory compliance matters pertaining to banking, finance, projects, and energy sectors.
   • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure clients remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
   • Representing clients in regulatory proceedings and negotiations with regulatory authorities as needed.
3. Client Management:
   • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by providing strategic legal advice tailored to their business objectives.
   • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions to complex legal challenges in the banking, finance, projects, and energy sectors.
   • Identifying opportunities for business development and contributing to the expansion of the firm’s client base.
4. Team Collaboration:
   • Collaborating effectively with partners, senior attorneys, and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions and exceptional client service.
   • Mentoring and providing guidance to junior associates and legal staff to support their professional development and growth.

Qualification

• • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited law school.
  • 5-6 years of experience practicing law in banking, finance, projects, and energy sectors, preferably in a reputable law firm.
  • Strong expertise in structuring and executing complex financing transactions, project finance deals, and energy-related transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking and finance laws, project development processes, and energy regulations.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
